After more than six months of stealth development, a super duper secret alpha, and a ton of broken sentry guns, TFCL is back and ready for public testing! TFCL is a North American competitive 6v6 league. Registration for TFCL's Alpha Season 2 opened on May 21st and runs through July 5th!
To make things even more awesome, they're throwing a $504 prize pool at this season! And medals, of course. Can't forget those!
Alpha Season 2 will last approximately 6 weeks, with an additional week or two for playoffs. There will be 12 matches, two per week, on servers located in North America. Entry is free. TFCL will host and configure all match servers, so all you have to do is sit back, compete, and have fun!

After asking every horse in the area the best ways to enjoy this year, it was unfortunately nays across the board. Unsure what to take from this, Potato.TF decided to celebrate the best way they could think of: bringing back Memes vs Machines! The horses did give one piece of advice: do not release on April Fools under any circumstances! In hindsight it seems this was merely a clever prank. Good job, horses, maybe that long face of yours has more brains behind it than we thought.

Are you the sort with a healthy dose of ideas but nowhere to use them? Have you just had one now and are wondering where you're going to find a plastic pelican at this hour? Then oh-boy does KritzKast have the competition for you!
KritzKast are looking for those with creative juices to spare, maybe even some artistic flare, or at the very least a friend or two who knows it's the sharp end of the pencil that goes down. This is absolutely the least effort you'll ever have to put into a creative endeavour to win big. Actually, technically to win very small, but still to win awesomely.
A fancy French cosplay studio (whose work you may have seen in certain "meet the real" videos) has volunteered to create the best esport trophy Team Fortress 2 has ever seen, for ÜBERFEST 2026! But KritzKast are notoriously work-shy, so to reach this trophy's full potential they need your ideas for what it should actually look like.
The winning idea will be made real, put on display during the LAN, and then awarded to the winning esport team! If it's your idea that's chosen, you and your team will each receive a one-of-a-kind handmade miniature replica of the trophy! There will also be plenty of Lo-Fi Longwave hats up for grabs!
The competition runs until the end of May!

Fireside Casts will be hosting their Cam's Cup Highlander tournament starting this Friday, April 17, @ 3:30PM EDT! The event honors a North American community member that recently passed away. Featuring 12 teams of 9 players, captains will gather to do a live draft the day before matches. The 12 teams will then be sorted into three divisions relevant to the teams' assumed skill levels and will be playing in a double elimination best-of-1 bracket.
On Friday, viewers can watch the live draft where captains will pick players to be on their respective teams. Then on Saturday and Sunday match coverage of the cup begins, featuring commentary from new and old faces alike!

TF2 Painter's Workshop is proud to announce the winners of the Americana Contest have been chosen! The submission scores were averaged between five judges according to three criteria: Theme Adherence/Concept, Execution, and Personal Preference.
All of the winning submissions and the extras which scored at or above a 9/15 have been included in the Americana Collection! There's also a custom war paint case proposal!

MGE.tf is launching a new season with the addition of 1v1 competition and the debut of a new region: Asia! Players will now be able to compete in both 1v1 and 2v2 leagues across North America, Europe, and Asia!
Players will face off in weekly deathmatch games against opponents of similar skill levels, creating a structured environment where everyone, from brand new players to top professionals, can sharpen mechanics and improve through consistent competition. Competitors can sign up for 1v1 or team up with a partner for 2v2, with multiple divisions to fight for glory, cash prizes and medals! Twice now the greatest teams in Europe have descended upon Łódź, Poland, to do battle and decide who truly can call themselves the best, in hard-fought, gritty battles of will and determination. This time, the competition goes a step beyond: North America is sending its representatives, too! No longer will the last team standing be champions of the continent, but of the world!

United Dodgeball League is excited to relaunch with a brand new tournament! This time, teams consisting of 3 players will compete throughout a marathon of four weeks in a Swiss style tournament bracket. Medals will be given out to all participants, and the 3 teams that finish on top will be given medals as well as prizes.
Players of all skill levels are welcome to sign up! Teams will face opponents with the same amount of points each week.
Signups will open on the 16th of February and will close on the 28th of February.

Seasonalander has arrived for the Winter of 2026! Seasonalander is a charity-funding Highlander 9v9 tournament that raises funds for various causes around the world, collectively raising over $10,000 since the Summer of 2021 for missions such as the Sarcoma Foundation of America, The British Red Cross and the Trevor Project. Every third global season, Seasonalander brings together more than 72 content creators to play! Participants range from YouTubers and Artists to Cosplayers and Streamers across primarily North America and Europe! Participants are divided into their respective divisions in hopes of bringing the Team Fortress 2 community together for several various causes!
Their winter event will raise funds for Child's Play through Tiltify, with a current goal of $2,000! Child’s Play is a game industry charity dedicated to improving the lives of children and teens in children’s hospitals around the world. Child’s Play currently has a network of over 190 children’s hospitals worldwide and has powered millions of hours of play.
Help get the word out and be sure to tune in on the 7th and 8th of February!
European games will start at 4:00pm GMT / 11:00am EST each day.

Behold, The Americana contest!
TF2 Painter's Workshop is proud to announce their second War Paint contest, aimed at capturing the 1950s! Think rock 'n' roll, diners serving bacon, eggs and waffles, and classic Cadillacs! There are two categories this time around, ranked individually with a large prize pool of 40 500+ keys!
War Paints. The typical kind, applies to all 44 weapons.
Limited Skins. UV skins/decorated weapons, and Dragon Slayer type war paints.
Categories are scored separately with their own prize pools.
All entries must be submitted to the TF2 Steam workshop before March 31st , 2026. Entries will be scored after the deadline.

After years of waiting and anticipation, Fruit Mixes is back for its 4th season!
Signups for the tournament started on February 1st and will run through February 20th! Matches take place February 20th through February 22nd. All skill levels are welcome! Skill levels will be broken up before the tournament starts based on previous competitive experience.

TF2 Coaching Central is announcing their twelfth North American Newbie 6s Cup, a learning experience and friendly tournament for people who are new to competitive 6v6.
Players with no to minimal competitive experience sign up to be placed in a team of six, led by experienced coaches who will teach the basics of the 6v6 format and help you learn the maps. Teams have a total of four weeks to learn and train together before facing off in a tournament with a prize pool of 18 keys for the winners and runners up and medals for all participants. TF2 Coaching Central's previous Newbie Cup events which have been running since 2021 have successfully prepared many players and teams to continue competitive play in RGL, the biggest North American TF2 league.
Signups are open now, and the deadline to apply to be placed on a team is December 12. Team and coach assignments will be made by December 14. Group stage tournament matches (with select matches casted live on Twitch by Fireside Casts) will be the weekend of January 10-11, 2026, with top teams moving on to the playoffs the following weekend.
