In the world of today yesterday's videos are old hat. Wishful thinkers have put an end to all that and launched Team Fortress TV! Dedicated to live streams of matches from Europe, Asia, and North America you'll never be caught talking about the past.
In honor of the meticulously researched, true-to-life events dramatized in the educational video game Saints Row: The Third, we visited the library and came up with three equally historically accurate Heavy items for those of you who pre-order: a faithful recreation of the ceremonial dress of General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union Mikhail Gorbachev. Note the dedication to mirroring every historical detail, from Gorbachev's signature diamond-encrusted lucha libra mask to his cartoonishly oversized boxing gloves to the fleur-de-lis badge given to all former heavyweight champions, all of which Gorbachev famously wore to accept the Nobel Peace Prize in 1990.
Check out this highlight reel featuring top North American team The Experiment's matches during Season 9 of the ESEA-Invite created by Subtitled of Torn Productions.
The third mix-up match popped up to the TF2 Mix-Up website today featuring a slew of characters from the community and the Team Fortress team.
Someone passed a link to us that pointed us to this Night of the Living Update! We really wanted to explore more of the house but were denied by some sort of a haunted multi-day lock mechanism. Dreadful. Suppose we'll just have to wait to see what other treats are unveiled over the next few days.
Almost had you.

Who wouldn't want to look at a muscular baby with a mustache and chest hair busting through an adult bear while they're checking their email? Get it now in the Artwork section of the website.
A few replays from the Highlander Mix-up Match have surfaced featuring some of the top competitive players, a handful of community contributors, and our own Dave Riller, Jon Lippencott, and Robin Walker.
The Drunken Brawl! (yes, exclamation mark included) has teamed up with eXtv to host their first ever MyGamingEdge mod tournament. They're hosting three 32-man brackets; Soldier, Scout, and Demoman. The event starts Saturday, October 15 at 1PM EST. As if playing the game wasn't reward enough, first place prizes for each bracket is an unusual hat for each class. Very spiffy.
What do the names Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw have in common? If you guessed "three people who've delivered my mail," then you know as much about country as we do, because apparently they're all incredibly famous country music stars.
Anyway, check out this awesome new Team Fortress 2 theme song that's had us chuckling all afternoon. It was written and performed by someone called brentalfloss, who we assume is also an incredibly famous country music star, like Garth Yoakum or Miley Cyrus's dad. And if he's not super-famous, he should be.
CommunityFortress.com put together their Top 10 Plays of the month for August and number one is sure to put a smile on your face. Unless you're on the receiving end. Looking for more? We also have this highlight reel from the Wolth Pack team from this past season of ESEA-IM.
